Why This Collagen Works Faster Than the Rest 🧜‍♀️

For decades, beauty has focused on quick fixes: what you put on your skin. But the most radiant glow, strongest hair, and healthiest aging begin from within.

Introducing Pique's Carrara Marine Collagen, a true breakthrough in beauty. This first-of-its-kind formula combines Type I marine collagen for visible radiance with rare Type II collagen from wild Hokkaido salmon to support deeper structural resilience. Enhanced with biotin and micronized pearl powder, Carrara helps promote smoother, more luminous skin, stronger hair and nails, and whole-body vitality.

Designed for superior absorption, you'll see results faster than with traditional collagen. Its rich coconut cream base transforms your daily routine into something indulgent. More ritual than supplement, it elevates even your morning coffee or matcha.

This is collagen, completely reimagined. Not just glow but structure. Not just results but longevity. A new foundation for beauty, built from within. 🧜‍♀️

IN THE NEWS

22-Point Lead, 99.7% Chance… and Total Collapse: Cavs Choke Away Game 1

The Cavs had a 22-point lead 7:39 left in the fourth quarter. The odds said they had a 99.7% chance of winning.

Then… Epic meltdown.

The Knicks tallied the biggest comeback in the NBA playoffs in14 years – outscoring the Cavs 44-11 the rest of the way to defeat Cleveland 115-104 and take a 1-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

There’s a lot of blame to go around:

  • Kenny Atkinson called one timeout during a 30-8 run and failed to make adjustments.

  • Dean Wade shut down Jalen Brunson for three quarters. The Cavs switched James Harden on the Knicks guard down the stretch and Brunson scored at will.

  • They stopped going to Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, who dominated NY in the paint.

  • They stopped attacking Brunson, who was a defensive liability in the game.

  • Donovan Mitchell scored 26 and then disappeared from the offense down the stretch, scoring only three points.

A total disaster. Can they recover from this disaster in Game 2?

Outrage Over Netflix Hit ‘The Crash': Teen Killer’s Father Suspended as Viewers Demand Remorse

Netflix

It’s highly uncomfortable and unsettling watch and has elicited shock from viewers. It’s also the most talked about Netflix documentary this year.

“The Crash” is the streamer’s No. 1 film, and a slice of true crime that hits close to Cleveland.

The Story

It details the 2022 high-speed car crash in Strongsville – when 17-year-old driver MacKenzie Shirilla crashed her Toyota Camry at nearly 100 mph into a brick building in the Progress Drive Business Park.

She was convicted of murder for killing her two passengers, boyfriend Dominic Russo, 20, and his friend Davion Flanagan, 19.

The Outrage

The family’s reaction to the accident and conviction in the doc is now making news.

Her father, Steve Shirilla, has been placed on administrative leave for allegations that he “demonstrated poor judgement,” read a statement from Mary Queen of Peace School, in Cleveland, where he teaches art and digital media.

Social media reactions range from outrage to grief for the victims’ families to criticism of MacKenzie Shirilla and her parents over a perceived lack of accountability and remorse.

Frozen in 1971: The Pizzeria Where Time Stands Still and the Pizza Still Slaps

There’s the jukebox, stocked with the same 45s it had when the place opened. The décor – classic booths and tables and paneling from 1971.

Even the menu sign is original and has been hanging there 35 years.

In an era of constant change, Farinacci Pizza in Northfield is a rare constant – a genuine, family-run pizzeria that focuses on classic pies and tradition over reinvention.

“We haven’t changed a thing,” says Kim Abbomerato, who started working there in 1996, when she was 14.

Now, she’s the owner, along with her husband Claudio – whom she met, you guessed it, at place.

They bought it in 2021 from the Farinacci family.

“We kept everything exactly how it was,” she says, “from the 1970s music to our pizzas.”

I bet the pizza was just as good back then.

Fairness for the Little Stage: Cleveland Exempts Clubs from 4% Admissions Tax

Ohio’s 312 independent clubs generate $3 billion for economy, support 21,604 jobs and create $122.3 million in state and local tax revenue.

Despite all this, only one in five turned a profit last year.

Yet, none of them get tax breaks, unlike the billionaire owners of Cleveland’s basketball and baseball stadiums

Cleveland Councilman Kris Harsh had an idea – and his colleagues have voted yes.

Council has approved a proposal to exempt venues that sell 750 tickets or less from a 4% admissions tax.

“When Rocket Arena needs a repair, we pay,” says Harsh. “It’s not fair to the little guy -- so let them keep this small amount. It’s our investment in their investment.”

Happy Dog co-owner Sean Watterson and other operators have called for the exemption to boost clubs and they areas they anchor.

Harsh agrees.

“Local venues invest in neighborhoods, bring life to our streets and build a community with music,” says Harsh. “This relatively small amount can mean a lot to a struggling business owner.”
