Cavs Finally Land Their Wing, Clear Salaries, Sign Harden… Hat Trick!

They’ve tried for years, since the departure of LeBron. Finally, the Cavs have landed an athletic small forward who could shoot 3s and defend.

Welcome, Peyton Watson.

The trade with the 23-year-old Denver Nugget brings perfect complement to the starting lineup.

The Cavs traded Max Strus and Denis Schroder to create more than $31 million in cap space to acquire Watson.

He brings the defensive versatility that Strus lacked and willingness to shoot and create –which Wade didn’t do.

Without Nikola Jokic in the line-up, he averaged 22 points in 14 games for the Nuggets.

He’s also a stellar 3-point shooter from the corner – hitting 52% and ranking in the 97th percentile.

At 6-8 and with long arms, he’s a strong defender and monster at blocking shots.

James Harden’s patience and unselfishness allowed the Cavs to make the move.

He waited until yesterday to sign with the team – on a three-year, $97 million deal – to give the Cavs the flexibility to get Watson.

GM Koby Altman has been criticized for criticism for his moves over the last two season. But his ability to clear salaries and acquire Watson deserves applause.

Jason Kelce’s ‘We Want Your Pee’ Ad Goes Viral — Data Center Hate Gets Political

Poor data centers.

They’ve become a laughing stock – and everyone is in on the joke, except for politicians.

Clevelander and ex-football guy Jason Kelce’s new Liquid Death and Garage Beer anti data centers ad is crude, ridiculous and kind of stupid.

It’s also an attention-grabber – and went viral because it taps into an intensifying backlash to the Big Tech’s glorified storage units.

His “We Want Your Pee” opens with Kelce appearing to urinate into a jar while saying, “AI data centers waste millions of gallons of water. That’s why Liquid Death and Garage Beer decided to team up: We want your pee … to cool these data centers.”

There’s also a singalong – with Kelce and ordinary folk singing: “We want your pee / Please give us your pee / Let’s pee on computers, together.”

A limited-edition “Data Center Coolant Collector” resealable glass launched alongside the ad quickly sold out.

Data Center hate is everywhere – which is what it usually takes for politicians to notice.

Enter John Husted.

A leaked GOP memo raises the alarm that the senator’s support for data centers could lose him the November election against Sherrod Brown.

How long before we see politicians singing, “We Want Your Pee”?

Cleveland Welcomes Watson Back—Then the Real QB Debate Begins

Every November, Americans head to the polls, stare at the ballot and say, ‘I wish there was a candidate I actually want to vote for.’

There’s a good chance Browns fans will feel the same way watching their quarterbacks.

Maybe even Saturday when the Browns take on the Bills.

Deshaun Watson will play his first game at Huntington Bank Field since Oct. 20, 2024. He’ll be followed by Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.

Before the game is even over, sport talkers will debate the QBs – and talk about the 2027 draft, hoping for a candidate they could get behind.

VINTAGE CLEVELAND

Parmatown Mall opened in 1956 as an open-air plaza. By 1965, it was enclosed and became one of the area’s most popular shopping destinations – featuring everything from big-box stores like Higbee’s, May Co., Macy’s Dillard’s and JC Penny to performing animals. It closed in 2013, making way for Shoppes of Parma and the return of the open-air model – minus the iconic department stores and pizzazz.
