No big development like the Flats. No anchor destinations, like the West Side Market on West 25^th.

But Old Brooklyn has developed organically, one bar and restaurant at a time – all providing unique themes that reflect the personality of their owners.

The latest to join the neighborhood opens today.

Witch Doctor, located in the old Sticks and Stones Social Lounge, takes an herbalist and botanical approach to cocktails, with a squeeze of hoodoo.

It rolls out classic spirit combinations with apothecary-style ingredients and house versions of gin, rum, tequila, and vodka.

Owners Matt Luebert and brothers Charles and Michael Eby spent two years building out the cocktail bar, which boasts a moody, witchy style.

It’s located on Broadview Road, six-tenths of a mile from Never Say Dive -- the high-low “dive” bar that brought verve to the neighborhood when it opened two summers ago.

Not exactly an ‘entertainment district,’ but Old Brooklyn is a leopard print along that’s filling in nicely.

Dahlia Coffee: The just-opened spot boasts Central American/Mexican-inspired coffee, house-roasted beans, and expanded breakfast/lunch options.

Melted Wings Winery: Opened in June, the urban winery produces wines on-site and hosts tastings by the glass or bottle alongside small plates.

FrankieLynn Hotdogs: This fall, the popular cart opens a brick-and-mortar location on Broadview to serve creative, locally sourced hot dogs and toppings.

Gray Wolf Tavern: Opened in October, it boasts an immaculate bar, bottlecap stools, wooden floors and their version of the original GW fish fry.

Opal on Pearl: Stylish bistro with a neighborhood vibes, small plates and stellar cocktails.

Sabor Miami: Honduras native Mariela Paz’s gallery and café serves great  coffee, sandwiches, entrées and enchanting art.

Of course, there’s also Metropolitan and Six Shooter coffee shops, and longtime faves Dina’s Pizza & Pub, Gus’ Family Restaurant, Charlie’s Restaurant and El Rinconcito Chapin.

More than a bakery that serves legendary pierogi, paczki, kolachki and cabbage rolls, Rudy’s Strudel & Bakery is Cleveland since 1948. It’s an icon that has thrived amid the city’s ups and downs. From the Indians last World Series win to Ghoulardi, Super Host, burning rivers, the Dead Boys, The Drive and Cleveland’s comeback. Rudy’s was there. It still is. A Cleveland classic that celebrates the city in all its flavors.

For years, Cavs fans have endured a streams freezing and screens going blank.

Finally, the days of pixelated mayhem are over.

That’s what the Cavs are promising with their latest trade: Goodbye FanDuel, hello DAZN.

The latter has signed a multi-year streaming partnership with the team that covers Ohio, western Pennsylvania and upstate New York.

What’s DAZN?

The boxing, soccer, and live sports streamer is renowned for its stability and durability.

The Cavs will move production to their Rock Entertainment Sports Network – which will go from 6 to 19 cameras, with ultra-high-resolution and statistical overlays.

DAZN will stream across smart TVs, mobile devices, browsers, consoles, and other platforms without depending on traditional cable carriage.

Fifteen games will be free (via over-the-air simulcast plus DAZN), with the rest behind a paywall starting at $19.99/month or packages running from $119.99 to $139.99 a season.

So, no glitches, but now there’s a different issue: You will pay more — which has sparked a backlash among Cavs fans.

In other words, sunsets occur 50 minutes earlier than at the start of the month, while sunrises shift 30 minutes later.

It’s the month where we see the greatest loss of sunlight in the year – by losing an average of two minutes and 45 seconds a day.

After the autumnal equinox, the rapid loss continues into October before slowing again toward the winter solstice -- when days bottom out near 9 hours 10 minutes.

The clock is ticking. Make the most of it and enjoy what’s left of summer.

Music at Market Square Park: The Ohio City summer series closes the season with Spazmatics, vendors and food trucks. 6 p.m. Info.

The Stitches: The Cali band headlines a punkathon with Robert Conn Band, OONGOW Struttin' Cocks,  The Hell and Stabmatics. 7 p.m., Treelawn. Info.

There’s old, older and then there’s the Great Geauga County Fair – the longest continuous county fair in Ohio.

James Monroe – a founding father and the fifth president – was in office when settlers founded one of Ohio's earliest agricultural societies.

Started in 1823, it featured livestock in rail pens and crops in the Chardon courthouse.

Ah, those were different times.

The 204^th installment rolls out a demolition derby, carnival rides, truck and tractor pulls, and Journey tribute band, E5C4P3.

You also get old-time hoots: a pig race, a frog jumping competition, horse shows and a rooster crowing contest.

Opens Thursday and runs through Monday Sept. 3 in the Geauga County Fairgrounds. Info.

The 1982 demolition of the iconic Public Square Cuyahoga and Williamson buildings — to make way for the Sohio Building, which opened in 1985. It would be renamed the BP America Building and is now known as 200 Public Square.
